About This Estate

Bill and Betsy Nachbaur specialize in field blends, the old California tradition of growing multiple grape varieties interplanted in the same vineyard and fermenting them together. Their Alegria Vineyard, planted with over 30 different varieties, produces wines of remarkable complexity: Medley (a red field blend), Heritage Zinfandel, and Sangiovese. The tasting experience is educational and unique.
